Platform:Sega Dreamcast

A mediocre port. The Dreamcast version of Resident Evil 2 has merely the extras of the Dual Shock version. It adds a slightly better resolution and VMU support. Other than that nothing worthwhile.

The Japanese version has something unique to it. It is called "Value Plus" and has an extra third GD-ROM which has a playable demo of Code Veronica and a sound museum. The "value" in this package is not only the demo but also the fact that you don't have to unlock anything in this game. All extras are unlocked from the start in contrast to the US/PAL versions. The Rerelease of Resident Evil 2. Adds a new Arrange Mode and a new mode. The Extreme Battle Mode which includes a playable Chris Redfield. Not much new than again a decent rerelease for the price.
